Quick answers

What do I need?

An iPhone on iOS 26 or later, using Apple's Screen Time. No iPad, Android, Mac, or web version.

How do I get it?

Mote is on the App Store. Tap Download on the App Store above, then tap to install. Free to start, no card.

How does billing and the free trial work?

The catch and the 60-second redirect are free forever, no card needed. Premium is a yearly or monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Your exact price is shown in the App Store before you buy. Start the trial and a reminder arrives on day 5, before any charge on day 7. Apple handles all payments.

How do I cancel?

Through Apple, in iPhone Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions. One tap, no retention maze. You keep Premium until the period ends.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Only Apple can issue them, so do not wait on me.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your Screen Time data stays on your phone. No third-party trackers, no ad SDKs, nothing sold. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

What is Mote, and what is it not?

Mote catches the reflex to open a distracting app, offers a 60-second better option, and walks you back to what you were doing. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for professional care. A determined person can always turn a shield off.

Mote is a gentle wellness and focus-support tool. It is not therapy, a diagnosis, or treatment, and not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent ADHD or any other condition, and does not replace professional care. If you have concerns about ADHD or your mental health, talk to a qualified healthcare provider.

In a crisis or thinking about self-harm, please reach out now. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Mote is not crisis support.
